Carrollton Hosts the Craft Guild of Dallas Fall Show & Sale, Nov. 5–8
For four days starting Thursday, November 5, a suite at 3410 Midcourt Road in Carrollton becomes one of the DFW area’s more quietly serious showcases for handmade work. The Craft Guild of Dallas Fall Show & Sale runs through Sunday, November 8, and admission is free every day of the run.
The Guild has been operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to arts education since 1948, and its two annual shows serve double duty: they put the work of local artists in front of buyers, and they fund the educational programs the organization runs year-round. This fall’s show is no exception.
Hours and Logistics
The show opens with a preview evening on Thursday, November 5, from 6 to 9 PM — a lower-key window to browse before the weekend crowds arrive. From there, hours expand:
- Friday, November 6: 11 AM – 7 PM
- Saturday, November 7: 10 AM – 5 PM
- Sunday, November 8: 10 AM – 4 PM
The venue is Suite 115 at 3410 Midcourt Road, Carrollton, TX 75006. Parking is available on site. Because admission is free and the event runs across a full weekend, it fits naturally into a Saturday errand run or a Sunday afternoon with family.
What’s on the Floor
The show spans a wide range of mediums. Expect to find jewelry, glass work, pottery, fiber arts, painting, and woodworking, among other disciplines. The range matters for practical reasons: this is the kind of show where someone can walk in looking for a ceramic mug and leave having also found a woven wall piece or a pair of hand-formed earrings. Because every item on the floor comes from a local artist, the show also functions as a direct conversation between maker and buyer — something that distinguishes it from a pop-up marketplace stocked with wholesale goods.
For residents who have been watching the Carrollton arts scene expand in recent years, the Guild’s presence in the city is worth noting. The organization hosts classes and workshops open to the public at its Carrollton studio throughout November, so the Fall Show is also an entry point for anyone curious about trying a medium themselves.
Fitting It Into a Busy November Weekend
Saturday, November 7 is a particularly full day on the Carrollton calendar. The Festival at the Switchyard runs simultaneously in Historic Downtown Carrollton, which means residents with energy can start the morning at the Craft Guild show on Midcourt Road and make their way downtown later in the afternoon.
For those arriving from outside Carrollton or relying on transit, the DART Silver Line — which began revenue service in October 2025 using the Cotton Belt rail corridor — connects to the Downtown Carrollton Station, making the broader area accessible without a car. The Midcourt Road location is a separate drive from downtown, so visitors should plan accordingly rather than assuming the two venues are walkable from each other.
A Note on the Guild’s Role in the Local Arts Ecosystem
The Craft Guild of Dallas has operated continuously for more than seven decades, which makes it one of the more durable arts institutions in the region. Its Carrollton location puts that history directly in the city’s backyard. The Fall Show is one of only two major shows the Guild produces each year, which gives each edition a focused, curated quality — artists are presenting their best current work, not filling booth space.
For residents who want to support local artists without navigating a large festival footprint, the show at Midcourt Road offers a more contained alternative: a suite-sized space, a consistent crowd of people who came specifically to look at handmade work, and direct access to the artists who made it.
The Craft Guild of Dallas Fall Show & Sale runs November 5–8 at 3410 Midcourt Road, Suite 115, Carrollton, TX 75006. All four days are free to attend.
